The beginning

Alrighty!

First post of the new blog, well it’s my first blog, so there goes that.

Anyway, it’s around 1am on a Thursday morning, I’ve just completed the touch screen calibration on my car PC, and am gonna get some Zs.

Bear with me for a moment as I introduce myself and the purpose of this blog.

Hello! My name is Travers Mills, 20 years old, 4th year Engineering (electrical) student at QUT gardens point campus in Brisbane, Australia. I like long drives, short drives, and driving in general. Oh and also hiking, camping, fixing stuff, tinkering with electronics, almost electrocuting myself at work (Electrical Engineering Firm), programming and long walks on the beach, toward the end of the beach, then turn around and walk back along said beach (Sunburn hurts, but Aloe is for the weak! … And also those that have some.)

Right, onto this blog. My good friend is hosting this for me which is very nice of him, and I shall use it well. I’m planning on making a tri-weekly, or try-weakly blog entry about what has happened the past days between posts. I also want to keep an updated record of what is happening to my car, and any major projects that go underway in the back yard (there have been many).

Long post, but stick with me!

My family and I have holidays, like most people, though I like to think we do them differently. I have been to almost every place on the coast in Australia, except for the Northern parts of WA and NT. Ularu, yes, 3 times, through the Simpson desert in a 4wd. That was so much fun!

Anyway, these june/July holidays have plans within them. Mum, dad and I are headed to NT, to see and do everything it has to offer. Gonna go through the Kimberlies, do some climbing, take lots of pictures and upload a few here in future posts.

Very excited!

I’ll be posting again soon, but until then, have a good one.
